THE A5 BOOK REVIEWToot & Puddle are best friends, enjoying a wonderful life in Woodcock Pocket. For Puddle, home was perfect; he never wanted to go anywhere else. Toot however was a traveler; he loved to take trips, and he decided to take a trip around the world. Even though one friend enjoys adventures abroad and the other enjoys his own adventures at home, the friendship continues. The Toot & Puddle series is a great series for beginning readers (ages 2-6), made especially for children who like to dream about exploring and read about adventures. There are eleven books in the series, and several, including Top of the World and I'll Be Home for Christmas, revolve around Toot's love of travel. Toot & Puddle was turned into a movie that aired on Nick Jr in 2006 and a television series that aired on Noggin in 2008.
